In Sto ck -Frame -cla ss action , Jim Brethorst
jumped th e lin e at th e start , causing the race
to be red -nagg ed and restarted. Brethorst wa s
pu t on th e back row. This fi red up th e Yamaha
ride r, and he took off w ith like a man on a
m ission . Before the race was ov er , Br etho rst
was in second place and c hasing down the
leader T ravi s Wa schek , wh o held on for th e
win .
