Broc Hepler, could only take one
championship back to Pennsylvania
with him. Hepler withstood a strong
challenge from Kentucky-based
Team Green prospect Ryan Sipes to
win the 250 A class, but he yielded
the 125 A/Pro Sport title to another
Team Green rider: Bryan Johnson.
Next weekend, Hepler will join fellow Suzuki amateur pilot Brian Gray
in the Team SoBe Suzuki factory rig
at the Spring Creek Pro National in
Millville, Minnesota. Hepler was
happy to at least get one win under
his belt before leaving the amateur
ranks behind.
"I wasn't able to win a title here
every year like some of the other
guys," said Hepler, who missed last
year's race with an injury. "I was really nervous. I was so scared of losing
here. I just tried to relax and ride
smooth."
