RIIIIRIEC::J 2004 KTMSXs The _ We sampled KTM's 2004 SX lineup and liked what we saw and felt By STEVE SX, 450 SX and 525 SX at So-Cal sandtrack Cahuilla Creek MX Park, and from what we could tell, the new KTMs truly have improved overall, and in the suspension department, too - even though KTM managed to pull it off without adding linkages. KTM actually worked on its engines, too, which was a surprise, considering not many people thought they needed it. The KTM motors are notorious for power - actually, the first time we rode this version of the KTM 125 SX a couple of years ago, most people commented that it felt Cox PHOTOS BY KIT PALMER AND T' Cox here was a lot of speculation when KTM released pictures of some of its off-road models earlier this su'mmer but didn't release pictures of the two-stroke SX big bikes right away, that the SX two-strokes would have a rear suspension linkage this year. Well, that's not the case; however, that doesn't mean the bikes didn't improve dramatically.
