off Morgan's Yamaha.
Wills showed why he carries the
number-one plate in the Classic
500/750cc division (as well as in
Dinosaur), chasing down early leader
Bernie Breece and passing him for
the lead on the fifth of eight laps.
Robert Litten held a solid third all
race, while Connell moved up past
Mark Fillebrown for fourth at race's
end. The top four all were aboard
tasty-looking Harley KRs.

the lead from the Sportsman 750cc
start and opened up a good lead on his
Yamaha. However, the Yamaha-mounted Scott was moving up through the
field, and by the fifth lap he had closed

The two crossed the finish line in a
near-photo finish, with the win going to
Shindeldecker. The battle for third also

finishing just ahead of Thomas.
In the Over 60 Super Senior final,
dirt-track legend Ronnie Rail had gotten his BSA around the Triumph of

brought out a red flag. Brown got the
jump on Rail in the single-file restart,
but Rail was soon back in the lead,
