The motocrossers
we rode were fitted with
full knobby Pirelli tires

more environmentally friendly (i.e.: smaller knobs) Michelins. Of

the 19-inchers on the

As you can see, the new
Huskys really are quite
trick and, as we found out,
quite good on the track,
too. In fact, we came away
surprisingly impressed with
Husky's new lineup.
All of the four-stroke

YZ, however, the TC is an absolute
blast to ride and makes you feel like
a hero on the track - it gives you the
confidence at least to attempt the
long tabletops and hold the throttle
open a little deeper into the turns.
The TC450 we do know makes
tons of power, rivaling the Yamaha
YZ450F, Honda CRF450R and the
KTM 450 SX motors. And the TC5l 0,
as you would expect, has even more
grunt. There are no lack-of-powerissues here, that's for sure.
As is the case with any big-bore
four-stroke, the TCs are susceptible
to stalling, but the electric starting
saves the day. Yes, the four-stroke
Huskys do feel somewhat heavier
than the Honda, Yamaha and KTM,
but the added weight of the electric
