Hancock failed to reach the final for the first time in four GPs, making his exit when finishing last in the second semifinal. Reigning World Champion Tony Rickardsson also went out in the same race, running a third behind Tomasz Gollob and Leigh Adams, and he has now been caught at the head of the leaderboard by Nicki Pedersen. The temperamental Dane, never far away from the thick of the actio!)., was second behind Adams in th-e final, and both Rickardsson and Peci: ersen now have 89 points. Scott Nicholls of Great Britain was third if! the final, and Gollob, who produced some magical moments, finishe.d fourth. The victory for Leigh Adams made the Aussie the fifth different winner this year, and it was his second Grand Prix success after breaking his duck in Gothenburg last season.
