never materialized, and a full day of
work by the Sharon Speedway track
crew.allowed the event to take place.
Despite an inconsistent, rough surface there was multiline, three" and
(Top) Jake Johnson (14) ran down Joe
Kopp (3) on lap 12 and went on to win
his first career 750 GNC main event at
Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio.
Kopp, currently the hottest rider on
the circuit, finished second.
(Left) Rich King (100) went forward in
the main event, eventually finishing
third. Chris Carr (1) went backward,
finishing eighth. Carr's once stou1
series points lead has evaporated to
just 18 over Kopp.
