Fujinami and Freixa took a little advantage, but then Freixa failed section 10. Raga lost some points here and there, while Fujinami proceeded confidently. So with half the competition left, the Japanese led with seven marks, Raga was runner-up, scoring 10, and Lampkin was third, with 14 not bad considering his ruined start. Freixa, on the contrary, also failed section 13 and dropped to the fourth position with 17, just two points less than Jarvis. It came down to Freixa and Fujinami in the second loop, the former scoring a superb 7, cleaning I I sections, while the latter also cleaned I 1 sections but dabbed just two feet more in the other four sections. The total of 16 assured Fujinami his second win of the season. AfDUN.£DP ®TOYOTA iJ"" Simply the !Jestforyour!Jike. rjZ0'#~ DAY TWD Only one section was modified for the second day, number 14, to make it more difficult, but the weather also helped the organizers. Indeed, overnight the area was refreshed by the rain, and, especially in the sections in the woods, the condition of the terrain worsened. Fortunately, the rain dropped only for a while at the end of the first loop and did not ruin the event for the spectators, this time a little more of them showing than the day before. Lampkin started the day more determined and with the right concentration, but Jarvis was also looking good, happy to find wet sections like those in his home terrain. Fujinami and Raga did not fall off from their high-level rides of day one, either. Only Freixa felt the pressure to have the chance to clinch the leadership in the overall standing, and he made some mistakes. Before the last stadium section, Fuji led Raga, but an incredible error made by the Japanese, in which he fived a hazard, changed the running order. Raga topped the first loop with 15 marks, then came Fujinami, who was tied with Jarvis on 18. Lampkin was fourth with 19, and surprising everybody, Marc Colomer was fifth with 21 mistakes. The second loop was fatal for Raga, as he scored 18 points, losing the top place. Fujinami scored a good 15, but Jarvis was better than everybody else with 14, one point less. eN All Yamaha riders are eligible 0 win a 2003 TTR90 and TTJ 25LE!
