This unforgettable beauty pageant has become the Clayton Memorial Foundation's top fund raiser and the Championship's most talked about event. Preparations for the second annual Pit Daddy beauty contest are underway as America's top road racers train for the second most prestigious trophy in the series. Over $15,000 was raised during last year's event for the Clayton Memorial Foundation, which provides aid for injured motorcycle racers. Almost every male AMA road racer you can think of will be a part of a beauty pageant that will feature two categories: formal wear and swimwear. Pit Daddy judges will ignore speed and skill, will pay scant attention to style and grace, and focus oh-so-c1osely on pecks and butts. If you can't make it to VIR you can still take part. APR. 26 The wettest week in Georgia's recent history didn't keep the Kelly boys from having the track at Bremen Race Park good to go. Areas close by received up to four inches of rain and hail, but it missed Bremen, and Saturday night saw 220 riders go to the gate for an awesome show. Hot racing and warmer weather seem to be a good combination. The 50cc (7-9) class had a great rider turnout and even better competition. Byron Dillard won both motos on his superfast Polini. with KTM rider Hayden Richardson taking second spot. Cobra tamer Kyle Russell let the front two know that one mistake would play into hjs hands. The 50cc (4-6) class was the territory of KTM-mounted Brady Moreland. Ending the first moto in third, Moreland kept his head down and won the last moto, which earned him the overall win. Husky man Caleb Sullivan was consistent with two second-place finishes. Cobra rider Tyler Allen came from Pel City. Alabama. and won the first moto but dropped diately to Cycle.
