Luck made his way to the front early in the u.s. PRO MOTOCROSS GTO race. Trombino was dose behind but couldn't get around the leader. Luck maintained his advantage to the checkered flag. Trombino, Michael Rouleau, Pihokken and Darryn Wilbur rounded out the top five. The GTU race quickly turned into a tworider breakaway, with Luck's GSX-R600 leading Trombino's R6 around the course. They finished first and second. respectively. followed by Andre Bibeau, William Sheridan and Pedro Valiente. The Dunlop/GMD Computrack/Sharkskinz/Suzuki/Silkolene-sponsored Pihokken won the Unlimited Supersport, Heavyweight Supersport and Heavyweight Superbike races and finished fourth in GTO. He was the undisputed holeshot master of the weekend, getting out front at the start of all of his races. In the Unlimited Supersport event, he finished ahead of teammates Ed Lis and Scott Ritchey, while Rouleau and Ernesto Menendez rounded out the top five. Pihokken finished the Heavyweight Supersport race ahead of Rouleau, Lis, Menendez and Darrin Klemens. He was out front again in the Heavyweight Superbike race, with only three other riders. Maintaining the lead during the seven-lap event, he beat out Lis, Menendez and David McEnery. The Yamaha Motor Canada/Vaughan Cycle & Accessories/Lightning Performance Products/Pirelli/Hindle-backed Trombino won the Middleweight Superbike event, beating local riders Valiente, Bibeau, Brad Graham and Tom Pfuner. Trombino finished second to Luck in the GTO and GTU classes. Alex Ferreira rode his SV 650 to victory in the GT Lights, Lightweight Superbike and Lightweight Supersport classes. Like Pihokken, Ferreira was able to nab early leads in all of his events. In the GT Lights event, he finished ahead of Steve Wenner, Derek Keyes, Kevin Kincaid and John Costa. Ferreira opened a huge gap in the Lightweight Superbike class, finishing ahead of Robert Cole, Scott Korol, Gerald Young III and Cary Pigman. Also, the 2wf.com/Michelin/Engine Ice/Prieto Racing/SST Unlimited-sponsored rider dominated the three-rider field in lightweight Supersport, beating Cole and Young. The Lockhart Phillips/EBC/Dunlop/Spectro Oils/AGV-backed Brian Shaw dominated the Amateur classes, with three first-place finishes and one second-place finish. He nabbed early leads in the GTO, Unlimited Supersport and Heavyweight Supersport races, and finished second to Jorge Rodriguez in the Heavyweight Superbike event.
