One thing that I noticed and that associate editor Kit Palmer later com· mented on was that the seat was a lit· tie on the firm side. After spending the better part of the day on the bike, my butt was pretty sore. Palmer, on the other hand, has been commuting on the bike (70 miles each way) for a week and said that he was surprised how hard it was. The SVs offer a lot of cool little details worth mentioning, like the cool little tie-down hooks at the rear of the passenger footpegs and under the grabrail. The SV650 (naked version) is available in two color combinations, Silver and Blue, while the SV650S is available in Silver and Copper.
