Gregory Moore claimed the win in the 750cc Superbike final on the Buzz's Psycle Suzuki 750. grabbed the Yamaha money and the win, with Smith second, Junge third and Harwell fourth. In the contest among the 15-year-old Experts, Jesse Janish from Wisconsin finished 15th, Nicky Wimbauer from Colorado took 17th, and Michigan rider Taylor Knapp came in 18th. "My R6 is working really good," Jensen said. "It is just a stock engine with a pipe. I raced R6s in '99 and 2000, and last year I raced the Suzuki 750. This year, I'm just going to race for that Yamaha money." As Bradley Champion stretched his lead in the Lightweight Twins race, three 650s fought it out for second. On the third lap, Martin Musil broke away and took second. Three laps later, John Linder established himself in third, and Brian Suffridge settled for fourth. Brian Kcraget took his NESBA Honda 125 to the front of the 125cc GP final. Steve Genter, on the Honda Riders Club Honda, and young Taylor Knapp, on the Ray C Yamaha, went back and forth for second. As this twosome battled, John Klaras ran a safe fourth. At the halfway point, Genter gained and held on to finish second. Tray Batey takes the win in the Heavyweight Twins final on the Vesrah Suzuki TL 1000. Bill Conger. on his Crescent Truck Suzuki, had the upper hand over Diego Rojas, on his Pirelli Suzuki, in the 750cc Superstock race. Delano stayed close but couldn't match the speed of the leaders. At the halfway point, Rojas made the move for the lead and made it stick, as he went on to win. Tray Batey put the hammer down on his Vesrah Suzuki and took the lead in the 750cc Expert Superstock class. Smith and Harwell went at it for second, and John Jacobi ran fourth. Charging through the pack was Josh Hayes, who moved to fourth on the fifth lap, passing Jacobi. On the seventh lap, Hayes went by Harwell in the esses. On the next lap, he passed Smith in turn one but ran out of time to try to catch Batey and had to settle for second. Gary Schilling blasted off the line on his 4&6 Racing/SV Suzuki in the Formula Two final. Jeff Walker, on the Cooper Performance/SV Suzuki, wasted no time getting by Schilling to take the lead and try to hide from the screaming two-strokes coming up behind him. First the Honda-mounted Kcraget got by, and then Mark Brown, on tbe Jennings GP Yamaha, did the same. Walker held off the Honda 250cc-mounted Genter to finish third. In the 600cc Superbike Expert final, the Yamaha-mounted Jensen finally got away from David Weber to Josh Hayes (41 leads Mike Smith (21 and Scott Harwell (91 out of tum 10 in the 750 Superstock final. take the win. Steve Breckenridge took third, with Greg Moore fourth. Conger took the win in the 600cc Superbike Novice final, with Delano second and Mike Elsass third. In the Heavyweight Twins final, Batey went wire to wire on the Vesrah Suzuki to the checkered flag. Champion, on the PireUi Aprilia, held off the challenge of Bill St. John, on the Project Monz~/BCM Racing 996cc Ducati. Mark Brown finished fourth on the 250cc Yamaha two-stroke. Ducati rider Fred Bittner took the win in the Heavyweight Twins Novice final. Aprilia 1000-mounted Daniel Blankenship battled for second with Rusty Nation, on the 748cc Ducati. Glenn Goodman took fourth on the big Suzuki. Four 750cc Suzukis swept the Expert portion of the 750cc Superbike race. Greg Moore got first, followed by Giovanni Rojas, Aaron Risinger and David Weber. One lone Ducati 996 finished in the top four of the Novice portion of this race; Bittner rode his 996cc Ducati to fourth, while Suzukimounted Delano took first, Conger finished second, and George Gentle secured third. In America's only truly unlimited motorcycle road race, the Pirelli Formula One final, Batey and Scott Carpenter shot off the line together. On the second lap, Batey established his lead on the Vesrah Suzuki 1000. Darren Luck moved into second on his Cheetah Racing Suzuki 750, but Jensen was on the move. At the cycle halfway point, Jensen grabbed second on the Butler Yamaha R1, while Crozier, Carpenter and Tim Bemisderfer contested fourth.
