Perfect weather greeted the fans and racers at
round four of the Moto-Madness Series. The
track had been wet the past few races. but
water was needed on the racing surface this
evening. The track crew spent all day on the
track prep, and the racers found the crew's
hard work was time well spent.
The racing was hot and heavy in the Pre-
Teen 60-80cc class. Matthew Timm showed
the necessary speed on his Honda for the top
spot. Kawasaki jockey Justin Morris was a
solid second. Suzuki rider Drew Wilson fin-
ished off the podium with a third-place finish.
Kawasaki rider Chas Gibson took the top
spot in the BOcc (7-11) class. Honda·mounted
Timm finished ahead of the hard-charging
Yamaha rider Andrew Reed. These young
men's pace will get even faster once school is
out.
The Youth (12·15) class was the property
of Freewheeling's Clayton Henderson, but the
up-and-coming Richie Gibson finished in second on his Kawasaki, behind Henderson's
Honda. Brian Elrod put his Honda in the third
podium position. Maybe the pink bunny ears
on Elrod's helmet were the secret of his speed
. but he wasn·ttelling.
KTM rider Broc Hinkley led the way in the
