The U.S.A. has never won the ISDE Trophy Team Title, and support and interest has waned over the past few years. But Racer Productions and the AMA are out to change that. This year's team will feature six of America's best riders: Rodney Smith, Fred Andrews, Mike Lafferty, Mike Kiedrowski, Jason Raines and Ty Davis. GNCC trail boss and former ISDE gold medallist Jeff Russell will serve as team manager. Monetary support, usually lacking in this event, will come from GNCC Racing, as well as fund·raising drives and other Industry sponsors. Racer Productions plans on pushing the project all season long, and fans are encouraged to support America's Team through the purchase of souvenir merchandise, The 2003 ISDE takes place November 3-8 in Forteleza City, Brazil. 52 FEBRUARY 26. 2003' eye I • n e _ os
