In Junior A competition, Chaz Akers got the holeshot, followed by Derek Tucker and Logan Chilman, By the second lap, Cody Miller had moved from sixth to second place, followed by Broc Sims. On lap four, Sims managed to get around Miller, and then he held on to the lead. The top five finishers were Sims, Miller, Akers. Chilman and Brandon Crawford. The riders thanked the promoters for putting on such a challenging course. Round six of the series has been postponed. so the next race will be on January 12 in Maplesville, Alabama. I While round three was canceled because of rain, round four of the Fall/Winter Series saw some great weather for racing. In 65cc action, Tanner Wilson took the holeshot, followed by Tanner Saunders. Michael Jennings, Garrett Grey and Matthew Wedding. Wilson, contesting the 10-1 J class, took off from Saunders. Behind Wedding. Kyle Ingles and Ryan Reavis went to work on Wed· ding. Kyle Engles was pushing Wedding at every turn, with Reavis right behind. Engles found the spot and made the move under Wedding. Saunders put a little distance between himself and Jennings, but Jennings was pushing harder. and he started to close the gap. As they started to lap Reavis. Jennings got right up on Saunders, who was slowed by Reavis. Jennings was cutting every corner, but Saunders would always close the door. Wilson came around for an easy first· place finish. followed by Saunders and Jennings. who were in turn followed by Grey, Engles, Wedding and Reavis. In 125 action. Traver Wilson took the holeshot for the J 25cc C class. followed by B.J. Keller, Justin Conley. Justin Falls and Nathaniel Rovira, who were all side by side, and Nathan Malin. all riding in the J 25cc Novice class. Falls moved into the third spot, in front of Rovira. Back in the pack, Malin made a slip and let Brandon Maynard around him, but in a hard move on top of the berm, he drove the corner and went back by. As they went into the whoops, Josh Keller saw his chance and went by Maynard also. Conley took a spill and went to the back of the pack and had to play catch·up. Maynard went back by Josh and was right behind Doug Shehan and almost jumped on top of him. but he went wide and got into some soft dirt and stumbled, letting Josh back by. While Maynard was down. Conley also made his way by. B.J. went by Rovira and Falls to take over the first spot, while Falls was trying to hold off Rovira to keep second place. After some more falls and mistakes. Falls took the overall win with a 2·\ tally. Second was Rovira (3·2), third went to first-moto winner B.J. Keller (1-4). fourth was Malin (4-5). and fifth was Maynard (8·3). coming back from a last· place finish in the first mota. Wilson won the first 125cc C mota. followed by Daniel Nathan. but Nathan made the pass to hold off Wilson In the second to take first overall. The rained·out round three has been rescheduled for January 5.
