Promoter Johnny Isaacs got a late start on track preparation due to confusion within the Creek County Arena management, but he carved out a racy - if a bit bumpy - surface, and the races started right on time. Young Dakota Raymer from Mountain Okiahoma City's Tye Kyles won the main event for the 85cc class aboard his CR. Yamaha rider Race Davis was second. Next up were the 600cc Vintage Amateurs. Mike Newton showed off his new leathers with a holeshot and a convincing win.
