Higgins proved he's an ironman by racing
back-te-back motes with the A class and went
right back to the starting line to face off
against "Radio" Randy Tomlinson in the Over
50 Modern Support class. Tomlinson gave
Higgins an honest run in the beginning, and
many thought he might tire Higgins out. but
Higgins never slowed his pace. B&B Cycles
rider Danny Burkhalter followed Higgins in the
finishing order, as Higgins picked up his third
overall win, this time in the 40-49 class.
The ambulance crew was caught sleeping
all day. and not a single rider got hurt. despite
some good crashes. Pro Une Motorsports' Ken
Cox and H&H KTM's Theron Warren both got
a good taste of the dirt and almost woke up
