Willow Creek Outpost and Campground: Team Green's Jeff Cregg charged for second place in Linton, Kentucky, and made the podium for his third time this season at round three of the AMA Mid-South Championship Winter Hare Scrambles Series. He's currently second overall in the series points standings. throughout the race. Cregg took the lead away from Mullins on their second lap. "I didn't know I passed him, because I couldn't see him anywhere," Cregg said of Mullins. "I thought he was still in front of me." KTM·mounted Mullins got back on his bike, passed Gibson in a thicket and finished in third place. "This race was a lot of fun," Mullins said. "I enjoyed riding here, and I really want to thank my dad and my uncle for all of their support." "That guy [Mullins] was flying'" said Moose-backed KTM rider Gibson. "I passed him out there in a tight section. and there was this spot up a hill where everybody was stuck. He made it around them, but I didn't. I tried several times to get around him, but I couldn't. He's fast. He's crazy!" Gibson struggled with arm pump and breaking bumps during his second lap, and he lost a lot of time due to problems caused by a crash. Robbins' Turbo/Cycle Shed/Scott USAsponsored KTM rider Robbins completed the top five. He won the Vet A championship at the Stoney Lonesome Series and said he would like to come to as many MSWS races as possible. Three people claimed their third win in the series for this season: Allen, Harvey Whitaker and Yamaha-mounted Jeffrey Welch. Allen rolled into Victory Lane with first place overall and in the AA class for each race. Winning the Vet A class, Whitaker placed an Impressive seventh overall and is currently riding in sixth place in the overall points standing. Welch won the Four-Stroke C class each time.
