BRIEFLY••• Seven-time National Motocross and Supercross Champion .JeH Ward was on hand at the World Vets. racing a CRF450R in the Over 30 Pro class on Sunday. Walker was aboard a bone-stock VZ450F that he had picked up the week prior to the event. "' put my 426 forks on it." Walker said. "The shock wouldn't even fit. But it runs good." The conditions at Glen Helen (right) were horrible for the World Vet Championships. The wind was blowing a good 30 mph or more. and the track was extremely dry and dusty. thanks in part to a recent water shortage. "I've got three guys from Germany living in a motorhome in front of my house who came all the way over here to ride this!" exclaimed Doug Dubach. "It's ridiculous. And those Honda of Houston guys have Lake Whitney right in their back yard, and they came out here for this. They should've stayed home. " Fowler (Vern); 3. Kevin Welker (Vern); 4.
