Every other year he's been eligible to compete, he has won - a total of nine times! That being said, he was obviously the favorite going into this event on his new Dubach Racing Development YZ450F, and he didn't disappoint, leading basically every inch of every lap, grabbing both holeshots and then winning in a pair of runaways. YZ450F-mounted Terry Fowler, CRF450R pilot Jeff Ward, and YZ450F rider Kevin Walker all chased Dubach through turn one at the beginning of the first moto, and Walker swept around Ward and Fowler into second in the next tum. "I came out of the first turn second, behind Doug, and Kevin got by me in the second corner - I took some goon line on the inside, and he rode around me," Fowler said. "I pulled in right behind Dubach after that and keyed off of him for about two laps and made one mistake," Walker said.
