scores. The second division is always harder to figure out, because it changes between motos. Jimmy Bennett - the same guy who finished second in the 85cc Beginner class put it together and won. John Fetcho and Paul Calvo had some spirited interaction on the track, but it stayed clean, and they finished second and third, respectively. The 250cc Novice division featured more riders than usual, which made for some interesting developments on the track. Donald Ertel was smoking in the first moto, pulling off a narrow victory over regular front·runner Aaron Arnbrister. Luke LeDuc, who just moved up from the Beginner class, finished an impressive third in the first race. Ambrister had trouble and fell aU the way to fifth in the second mota, leaving the door open for some new blood. Ertel backed up his first-moto victory with a solid second the final time out. The final moto was actually won by Kyle Griffith, who finished dead last in the first. LeDuc maintained his pace and finished third again in the second moto. Ertel's 1-2 finishes were good enough for the win. LeDuc grabbed a weU-deserved second, and Ambrister held on for third. Many other riders turned in outstanding perfonnances. Some of the most notable rides came from Steven Hembree, Kyle Jones, Robby Baptista, Beau Baron and Kevin Yerkey. The series only has two rounds left after MaderZi. Great weather combined with a chance at supercross dream trips suggested that things would continue to get even better.
