In what appears to definitely be the year of the 600, not only does Kawasaki have the new ZX-6R, Yamaha has a new bike and, as you can see back on page 34, Honda has a new 600 as well. However, the most radical looking new Kawasaki has to be the ZR 1000 naked streetfighter with its over-the-top styling, and its 953cc fuel-injected motor. ZX-SR AND ZX-SRR There are two versions of the new 600. Contrary to common logic, the bike you want isn't the ZX-6RR, it's the ZX-6R. The latter is the bike with the new 636cc motor, while the RR version has to meet AMA Supersport rules, and remains a 600cc-powered bike - although it's based on the 636cc version.
