Adventure-Touring Impression
(Above) This Is what adventure touring really means to us: getting away from It all
for a few days and Immersing oneself In the great outdoors. This photo was taken
near Panamint Valley, and although It's a staged shot, we did camp out In a less
photogenic: spot In Death Valley.

was limited, but Chimney Peak Road, east of Lake Isabella, was a highlight of the
ride. Thanks In part to Its big-block-knob tires, the BMW (shown here) performed
quite dec:ently off-road.
