Hickenbottom. Fourth went to Yamahamounted Mark Deyling.
One of the best races of the day was
between Jeff McCune, contesling the Over 30
A class, and Hudak, in the Over 25 class. In
the same race but scored in different classes,
McCune put his Team Green/McCune Cycle
World/Fox/Oakley/Renthal
Kawasaki
CRF450R out front in moto one. Andrews
Honda/Davidson Construction/MSR/SCS Racing Decals-backed Hudak tucked in behind
with his CR250. The two riders were like fighter pilots out on the track. Using the entire
course, one railing the inside while the other
was diving outside, always within one second
of each other. Hudak took the lead three limes
but couldn't make it slick. They crossed the
finish practically side by side. The second
moto was much the same, except McCune
pulled out to a two-second lead at the finish.
Honda rider Joe Rice was really smokin' in
Senior and Supermini action. He took four
moto wins while holding off a hard-charging
Kyle Ditcher in both classes.
District I 1 KTM rider Tiffany Reed won the
Women's division, while Kawasaki jockey
Kimberly Kocher was runner-up.
