(12-15) title, while Sullivan's solid
seconds earned him second overall.
The eye-opening Mr. Partridge relentlessly worked his way through the
pack until he finally ended up in third,
for third overall.

strom and were in a dandy scrap for
third. Hall took the checkers with
Currier in tow, and Reis survived the
duel for third.
Hall hammered the field once
again as race two got under way. Eli
Tomac and Brett Downey were dicing
over second place. Hall was on race
pace, but Tomac moved in behind
him and stayed there. Currier laid
claim to third. As the race wore on,
Hall edged further and further away
from Tomac, while Currier raced in a
solitary third. At the end, it was Hall
over all, as he took the overall, claiming the 65cc Modified (7 -11) prize.
Currier earned a well-deserved second overall, besting Tomac, Downey
and Blake Bagget in the final results.
The 125cc Mod (12 - 15) contest is
a most interesting class. It throws
together racers from many different
competition levels with one main
thing in common: S-P-£-£-D! Florida
flier Bryan Johnson was the hot ticket
in this contest, with a double-moto
win over emerging Utah star Devin
Sullivan. Potential pre-race favorite
Kyle Partridge - who was racing with
a freshly broken hip, and was barely
able to walk - was still, amazingly,
competitive. Sullivan got the drop
when the board went sideways, edging Wyoming's Levi Jensen at the
first corner. Daniel Sani and Johnson
soon punched ~hrough to challenge,
and Partridge was also in the mix.
Sullivan led for a lap until Johnson
geared it up and whistled past into
the lead. Once in front, Johnson
stretched his legs and walked to the
first-moto victory. Sullivan survived
a bar-to-bar duel with Sani to grab
second.
Johnson wasted little time in the
second half, blasting out to lead
