Mancuso's day did eventually get better, as the Honda rider handily topped the Before The Hill Pro/Intermediate class, winning both motos. Fellow Honda riders Ryan Brubeck and Jensen finished second and third overall, respectively, to the rookie Pro. On hand were one of the largest assemblies of Four-Stroke riders since the annual AMA Westem FourStroke National, but in the end it was one of those National competitors, Matthews, who dominated both motos. Matthews had brief challenges from Yamaha-mounted Foister and Husaberg piloted Vielle, but it was Matthews' day. Foister finished second to Matthews in moto one, but VieIle, who was making his fourstroke debut, got the Husaberg figured out in the second moto and placed second overall. Foister, James Miller and Ben Sannan rounded out the top five overall.
