After only three laps, Doughty made the pass on Leavitt, but he could not get by Humphrey, who kept it pinned all the way to the checkered flag. Leavitt disappeared on the last lap, and John Dehn moved his Husqvama into third, with Chad Cook's Yamaha and Rick Stichter's Kawasaki .rounding out the top five. Doughty claimed the holeshot in moto two and never relinquished the lead. Humphrey rode another good moto and came in second, with Leavitt, Dehn and Cook not far behind. Carl Fritz got the hoJeshot in moto one of the 250cc Open C class on his Honda, with Kawasaki jockey Brett Fisher and Michael Stoll in tow. Jason Labonte was flying around the track on his Yamaha, finishing lap one in fourth and moving into second by the end of lap two. After two laps of battling back and forth, Labonte finally got around Fritz and took it home. Fritz stayed in second, with Yamaha riders Brett Cue and Stoll finishing third and fourth, respectively. Fisher crossed the finish line in fifth. Fisher once again got the holeshot in moto two, but Labonte was right behind him and only took one lap to make the pass. This time Fisher hung on to second, with Cue, Stoll and 12-year-old Michael Pritchett, on a borrowed Suzuki, rounding out the top five. The Supermini/80cc Open class had a great battle up front in mota one. Gilmore came out on top at the finish line, with Givens close behind. Suzuki jockey Bruce Dehn made a pass on the last lap to take third away from Damon Gabbert, on a Kawasaki. Adam Gulley rode his Kawasaki to a fifth-place finish. Mota two was a lot easier for Gilmore, since Givens crashed in another class and broke his femur, thus ending his racing for a few months. Gilmore took it wire to wire, followed by Kawasaki jockey Taylor Smith, Dehn, and then Wil Hahn and Maxwell Jordan, both aboard Kawasakis. Jonathan Fech got his KTM to the first turn in front of the rest of the 65cc Modified (7 -11) class in mota one. Another KTM rider - David Wood - quickly took over the lead and stayed there until the checkers came out. Fech crossed the finish line in second, with Kawasaki-mounted Jamie Siever, KTM pilot James Schmaus, and Kawasaki rider Justin Freund rounding out the top five. Fech once again got the holeshot in mota two and briefly lost the lead to Schmaus, but he managed to get back in first and stay there. Schmaus finished second, followed by Wood, Gatlin Norgren, on a Kawasaki, and Preston Primm, on a KTM. eN Caapeltllnd llacew.y Stillwlltllr, Dldaho...
