up another win, followed by Knox and Burks. Jake Tyree was the early leader in the 50cc (7 -8) class, chased by Jake Baumert, Tyler Phillips and Cobra Unlimited/Bell/Gateway Cycle/XTreme Graphics-sponsored Forrest Kirkland. Tyree stalled his bike on the final lap and Baumert took charge. Tyree got back under way but stalled again, ending up 13th. Baumert claimed the win, with Josh Bixler second, Kirkland third, and Bo Cooper filing by in fourth. The second moto found Tyree's machine fully recharged, and he took the win, with Baumert finishing second. Baumert took the overall win for the class with a 1-2 tally. Bixler finished third in the moto, with Phillips fourth and Cooper fifth. Kirkland did not finish after crashing. Danny Rocke was the first off the gate in the first 60cc (10-11) moto, followed by Cody Reas. Rock and Reas battled for first. At the start of lap two, FlatOut Motorcycles/The Money Station/Bridgestone's Rocke's bike went almost vertical at the finish-line triple jump, but he managed to land without going down. Rocke pulled off of the track, which put Reas in first. After having problems starting his bike, Rocke remounted several positions back. From that point, Reas ran away with the win. Suspension Works/S&S Powersports/Finish line Motorcycles/Splus MX School's Reas got the holeshot in the second moto and led from start to finish. Rocke was a no-show after suffering back pain from his firstmoto incident. eN followed by Lawhead and then Kelly. Bender returned to ride uncontested in the second moto for the win and the overall. Lawhead filed by in second. Rory O'Gorman claimed third after placing fourth in the first moto. Kelly finished a disappointing sixth for the moto. O'Gorman, Lawhead and Kelly returned to be the early leaders in the first Senior Mini moto. The trio raced around the course like a freight train. Kelly got by Lawhead two laps before the finish. Kelly then closed in on O'Gorman, with Lawhead some distance back in third. On the final lap, O'Gorman and Kelly battled for first. Kelly pulled beside O'Gorman in a turn, and O'Gorman poured on the gas, but Kelly made up the distance and closed in on O'Gonnan again on the last half of the last lap. O'Gorman held on to the front spot for the win, with Kelly second. Lawhead tallied third. The second moto again saw O'Gonnan out front, followed by Lawhead and Kelly. On the second lap, Kelly moved by Lawhead to take over second. By the final lap, O'Gorman and Kelly were battling, with O'Gorman again hanging on for the win and Kelly taking another second, while Lawhead landed third again. Cycle Tech/Big 4 Cycle/Monsanto's Jacob Rowland fired off the gate in the first round of the Open Junior Mini contest, chased by Spina Motorsport's Drew Knox and Sinisalo/Mad Moto's Devin Burks. Rowland was unstoppable as he led the entire moto, despite efforts by Knox and Burks to catch him. Knox and Burks filed by the checkered flag in second and third, respectively. Knox grabbed the holeshot in the second moto, chased by Burks and Rowland. On the first lap, Rowland quickly moved by Knox, but Knox regained the front spot before the end of.the lap. Burks got on the gas to go by Knox by the start of the third lap. Knox recovered as the pair rode side by side on the final lap, with Burks coming out on top for the moto win. Knox was a close second, followed by Rowland. Rowland led from start to finish with a huge margin in the first 80cc Junior Mini moto. Burks started the moto in second, with Clayton Knox in third. By the second lap, Knox closed the distance to Burks and went by. Knox then started a charge for Rowland. Knox rode out of control over a set of quad jumps but did not go down. Rowland earned the win, while Knox finished second, followed by Burks. Rowland nailed the holeshot again in the second moto, as Knox was better prepared off the gate.
