Bremen Race Park: Matt McGraw (924) won the 125cc Youth division over Chip Weatherup (007) at the second round of the GPG/AMA District 9 Best of Georgia Championship MX Series in Bremen, Georgia. Green fought his way past race leader Parker Anthony to win the first moto. Green took another hard-earned win in moto two after taking the point away from Jake Wilson. Behind Green's perfect score. Anthony and Wilson were second and third overall. respectively. The 125cc and 250cc 13 divisions showcased the talents of D.C. Thomason and Christopher McCorkel. The pair went wheel to wheel on nearly every lap of the exciting first 250cc B moto. McCorkel held on to win that moto, but Thomason got the overall nod via his 2-1 finishes, over McCorkel's 1-2 tally. McCorkel won both 125cc B motos and even had time for some fancy styles over the big jump. Meanwhile, Thomason suffered a poor start in moto one and eventually had to settle for second overall. Richard Sheriff was third overall. The large 125cc C division featured close competition for the top five overall positions. In the opening moto. Chip Weatherup started in about 10th and charged through the pack to finish in second spot. In moto two, Weatherup battled past point man Blake Spezzano for the moto win, netting the gold. Spezzano's 5-2 tally was good enough for the silver, over Chip Bishop. Matt McGraw came from behind to win the first moto of 125cc Youth competition. In moto two. McGraw led every lap to net a perfect score. over Weatherup. The closely matched duo of Jase Lewis and Ryan Gilliam clashed throughout the day in the Senior Mini (14-15) and Supermini classes. Both riders came away with a class win. Lewis was on top in the Senior Mini contest and Gilliam won the Supermini debate.
