Landberg (2-1) came out on top of the Over 40 Intermediate class, followed by Brynn (1-2), Bill Brown (3-3) and Brian Wry (4-4). Casey gave Clark his toughest challenge in the first combined 250cc/Open Expert moto, as Casey, riding a 1973 Honda CR250, bolted to the head of the pack in moto one and then fended off Clark to the finish to hand Clark his only loss of the day. Clark came back strong in moto two to score the win, ahead of fellow Open-class rider Rowand Landon. Landon's best performance of the day earned the Kawasaki-mounted Oregonian an overall 250cc class win, ahead of Casey and Christopher James. Bultaco rider Rick Ball ran amid the Expert contestants to snare an overall Open Intermediate victory (1-1), followed by Brynn and Wry. Oregon's Kurt Stevens and Washington's Monty Price's season-long battle resumed in the Open Evolution Expert class, with Stevens taking advantage of a spill on Price's part to win overall, via 1-2 placings.
