Pima County Parks and Recreation is seeking an operator for Pima Motorsports Park
(pMP), a 640-acre facility located near Tucson, Arizona (metro population 871,000).
PMP features four motocross tracks, an ATV recreation area, a 4x4 recreation area with
a rock crawl, sand pit and mud bog, an ATV and dirt bike training range, a five-mile loop
trail, and a 2,500 square foot Education Center building, with room for expansion.
Pima County recently received a $478,000 grant for Phase n of PMP.

Pima County is seeking a qualified entity to manage all aspects of the park. The
successful candidate will have an opportunity to lease the park under very favorable terms,
and will be in charge of the park's recreation, competition, and concessions operations.
This outstanding turn-key opportunity will be offered through a Request for Proposals
(RFP) that will be advertised in southern Arizona beginning on May 10,2002. Due date
for the submission of proposals is June 17,2002. An open bouse will be held at the park
on Saturday, May 4, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. to provide prospective operators with a chance to
