Upwards of 900 riders came out to Doublin Gap Motocross Park on a dry and mild but overcast day. Rossini Racing Products-backed Damien Plotts took home the lion's share of the Pro/Expert purse after he finished with perfect 1-1 rides in both the I25cc and 250cc Open A classes. Plotts also had an epic battle with RRP teammate Kevin Crine in the Over 25 A class, where they traded wins, with Crine earning the overall with his 2-1 rides to Plotts' 1-2 tally. Plotts led most of the second moto until the hard-charging Crine caught and passed Plotts late in the race to lay claim to the overall win in the Over 25 Open A class. In the I25cc A class, there were so many riders that two qualifiers were run. The top 20 riders from each would move on to the final moto of 40 gates. No last-chance qualifiers were run, due to time constraints. The I25cc A class wasn't the only class to have qualifiers; as many as eight classes ran qualifiers to reduce their fields to 40 riders. In the first 125cc A qualifier, Yamaha thumper pilots Jeremy Cook and Casey Clark rounded the first turn ahead of the pack, followed by Plotts, James McNeill and Gregory Panart.
