The top part of the system is desIgned to move with your leg, and the bottom part is mobile and is designed to rotate with your ankle. The result is a boot that you can walk normally in but that will limit ankle movement at certain predetermmed points to help prevent excessive lateral and longitudinal torsion of the ankle, nnce again according to Oxtar.
