"I didn't think we were that far into the race," Reed said, "so when I seen on the pit board [that there were] two laps to go, I thought, 'Whoa, I'd better pull my finger out here and go for it.' We came up on some lappers, and I kind of got lucky." "I was really, really upset about that," Langston said. "I know the guy didn't do it intentionally, because he was battling with one or two other riders. But the problem is, they get the blue flag, and they continue battling; they don't even pay attention. We went into the whoops, and I don't know if he was wobbling or what, but he ended up moving straight across me. I had to hit the brakes. That really made me mad because the last lap was coming up, and I believe he wouldn't have gotten around me." He did, however, -and Reed finished off with yet another win. "You've got to give him credit," Langston said. "He's riding fantastic at the moment. The two of us are kind of in a league of our own right now. Mike [Brown] has had a couple of good rides too. For me, the championship's out the window. All I can do is get wins, and I really, really want to get a win now." eN SlIpenlo•• New lIrIuns. lAuisien.
