• Welcome to AMK Support.com! you fall, it's nearly impossible to make up places. I hit somebody in the tunnel and stalled the bike again." The second semi went to MX GP rider Eric Sorby, ahead of Yves Demaria, and Patrie Bellerophon. Crowd-favorite Bayle could only manage a fifth-place finish, due to an accident. "I had a good start," Bayle said. "If you're not aggressive here, you can't pass people. I crashed from pushing too hard; they held us for a long time at the start and my tires got cold, so when I came into the corner I had no grip. This race is very special; the crowd loves this race. It's just for fun. I always like to come here to race; so much can happen here if you don't be careful." FINAL As the riders came out for the main event, the crowd sat in anticipation. On the front row of the grid sat Stephane Chambon, Stephane Blot and Sorby, while names like Bolley, Bayle and Demaria looked on from the second and third rows of the grid. From back there, it was going to be impossible to pass the likes of Chambon and Sorby. As the riders blasted out of the short start straight, Boris Chambon ducked up the inside, and he and his brother collided. While the two supermotard legends wrestled around on the ground, Bolley and Blot were licking their lips with the knowledge that the early favorite (Stephane Chambon) was out. Or was he? Bercy officials quickly made a decision and announced the official word: All riders must retum to the start gate. Bayle and Bolley were not pleased, and both went to the officials and complained, while the Chambon brothers sat quietly at the start. The protestations were of no use, and the Chambons would remain in the race. The second start was perfect for Stephane Chambon, who bolted out from the pole position and was gone. Boris had worked his way into third place behind Blot, while Bolley held fifth place and Bayle sixth. As the laps ticked away, Boris moved into second place and even closed the gap to the leader. Time ran out, though, and Stephane Chambon won from brother Boris, with third place going to Bolley. Kinigadner and Bayle completed the top five. "I hurt my back in the crash and was concerned I would have a problem with it," Chambon said. "It was never a problem though, and I could maintain a slight lead over Boris. It's great to be the Guidon d'Or champion again. For sure, this is one race you want to win if you race supermotard."
