The 2002 Individual World Trial Championship will consist of nine rounds, The schedule is as follows: April 6-7 - Luxembourg, Ettelbruck: April 13-14 - Spain, Mallorca: May 18-19 - Great Britain, Isle of Man: June 1-2 - United States, Duluth: June 15-16 - Andorra, Sant Julia: June 22-23 - France, Ancelle: July 6-7 - Italy, Valmalenco: July 13-14 France, Clermont-Ferrand; September 78 - Japan, Twin Ring Motegi. A big shake up in the Endurance racing world has seen a definite split form between the Octagon Motorsportsowned World Endurance Championship and the promoters of the three main French-speaking 24-hour races - Le Mans, Spa and the Bol d'Or. Always uneasy bedfellows, the Flammini/French combination proved to be unworkable, with the big three going their own separate ways as one-off meetings in their own right. The dates for the World Championship events, noticeable by their generally very short duration, are as follows: April 28 - San Marino, Imola (200 miles): May 19 - Great Britain, Silverstone (200 miles); June 16 - Czech Republic, Bmo (6 hours); August 4 - Japan, Suzuka (8 hours): August 10-11 - Germany, Oschersieben (24 hours): October 6 - Italy, Vallelunga (200 miles). The traditional 24hour races continue, with the (provisional) dates being Le Mans 24 Hours
