IFMA FMX Fall Series Round 13-14: SAVVIS Center STORY AND PHOTOS BY RAYMOND GUNDY ST. LOOIS, MO, OCT. 26-27 ~::;;::;;;lhe IFMA FMX Series made its first visit to the SAVVIS Center in St. Louis, where Dustin Miller pulled off his 12th win of the year on Friday night, and Trevor Vines capped of the weekend with a win Saturday night. After winning on Saturday night, Miller said, "My run was smooth and good like it is always. I qualified second behind the headstand trick again. I just can't beat it with everything I do. The night went good.' As for Vines, he was able to take his first win of the series after pulling off a perfect Sterilizer move. "It was a great win tonight,' Vines said. "I put a good two-minute solid run in, being able to do 18 tricks in the run. You got to throw out everything great.' Vines took second place Friday night as he was unable to stop Miller from knocking him off the hot seat. "I made a few mistakes, but I landed second," Vines said. Jake Windham is becoming known as Mr. Second Place, after finishing second again on Saturday night in St. Louis. "Tonight I was relaxed and hoping to do good,' Windham said. "I qualified first again and had a perfect main event and still didn't win! So I don't know. Maybe you got to do a Sterilizer to win an event. I am pretty bitter at the judges, but there isn't anything I can do. But I had a good time, and that's what matters." Finishing third both nights was Kenny Bartram. He rode well on Friday but had a few problems Saturday. "Friday I had a good 'solid run, didn't do anything that great," Bartram said. "I ended up with third because a few riders messed up, so that helped me out in the end. Saturday night, I completely messed up my run. Three tricks in, I did the wrong tricks. After that I just did tricks that came to me. It wasn't good at all and the judges ended up penalizing me. But I got third again." eN Saturday FINAL: 1. Trevor V:nes; 2. Jllke Windhllm; 3.
