Stephenson, also on a Tuf Racing Kawasaki, went 6-6. Things did not go as well for Bradshaw on Saturday night, however. This time, Bradshaw had a much faster Demuth to deal with. In the 125cc main, Demuth was leading late in the race, with Bradshaw hounding him in every tum. The two riders banged bars a couple of times, and Bradshaw was certainly threatening to make a move on the leader with only a few laps left. Unfortunately for Bradshaw, however, his Yamaha decided it had had enough and pretty much up and died, leaving the veteran racer sidelined. Demuth went on to win, while Tommy Hofmaster, on the Pro Source/Thor Yamaha, squeaked in for second place, ahead of Smith, Suzuki-mounted Rusty Holland and Honda rider Chad Johnson. Willoh finished out the race in sixth, followed by Stephenson, Gonzalez and Lange. Bradshaw was credited with 14th place. The packed Pepsi Arena was one noisy house, as Demuth and Bradshaw battle it out for the win. This time, Bradshaw's machine held together, but there was nothing he could do about determined Demuth, who hung tough all the way to the finish to take the thrilling win over Bradshaw. Gonzalez finished out the race in third place for the third time of the weekend, while Hofmaster and Honda rider Jiri Dostal rounded out the top five. Stephenson again took sixth (for the third time). Stephenson did, however, win Saturday night's Dash For Cash over Smith and Demuth. eN Pepsi Arena Albany, New Yon Results: November 9-10, 2001 (Round 2 8f 181 Friday 125 PRO: 1.
