Les Smith won the first moto easily, with Chris Osborne in second. Brown was third, with Matthew Williams and Tieler Dodge in tow. The second moto ended with the order jumbled up, as Brown took the win, followed by Williams. Smith experienced bad luck and placed third. Stephen Cooke and Osborne were next. Brown's consistency earned him his second -overall victory. Another double-class winner was Jason Wiley, who took the 125cc B and 250cc B honors. Blake Hovis kept him honest all day, running second in all four motos. Jeremy Allison and Travis Flowers kept their rivalry alive by doing battle all day in both the Schoolboy and 125cc C classes. Flowers won the first 125cc C moto, ahead o~ Allison, Malcolm Klepp, Jeffrey Sparks and Jeremy Jacobs. This would be the only moto Allison would lose, as he went on a tear and won the next moto and both Schoolboy motos, securing the overall wins, ahead of Flowers. Pro racing wasn't as predictable. A familiar face earned a huge moto win over a very competitive field. Fast starter Jason Bryant pulled the firstmoto holeshot in 125cc A action, over Jim Neese, Robbie Horton, Matt Shue and Jim Chester. Horton was a late arrival and didn't get to participate in practice, so his first lap was his practice. By lap three, he had moved past Neese and begun to close on Bryant, but Bryant's pace was strong and he continued to lead. Behind this battle, Chester passed Shue for fourth. Horton tried to get under Bryant at one point but stalled, allowing Neese to pass. On the last lap, Neese bobbled and gave Horton second, but Bryant took the win with a three-second lead. The second moto was all Neese's, as he scored the win and the overall. Bryant failed to finish in the top five, which hurt him in the end results. After a jumbled second moto, Shue ,finished second, followed by Chester, Horton and Spencer Hill. The 250cc A contest was the Horton show, as he led every lap of both motos. Neese and Chester traded second-place finishes, with Neese coming out on top for runner-up overall. Billy Liles, making a rare appearance in the 250cc class, fell hard on an infield double. After treatment from the. medical personnel, he was helped off the track, sore but uninjured. Chester was third overall, with Shue and Bryant again in the top five. Shue returned to take the overall in the Over 25 A class, over Liles, Frank Koenig, Neese and Jamie Simpson. Chester returned to win the Over 30 A contest, over Koenig, Liles, Joel Sewell and David Eller. With one round remaining, some class championships are coming down to the wire.
