Parks closed to Chisholm's back fender with the white flag in sight, but Chisholm stayed focused on the final circuit and took the hard-fought win by a couple of bike lengths. Eubanks was all by himself for third, with Hemme holding off Travis MehterIan at the line for fourth. With the 125cc Novice class being the final race on the evening's program, and having some extra time in the schedule, it was decided to extend the second moto to a full 20 laps on the J.B. Memorial track. Eubanks rounded the tight left-hand first turn with the lead, ahead of Jon Bender, Hemme and Parks. On lap two, Parks picked off Hemme for third place and started dogging Bender for the runner-up position a couple of laps later. Parks went down and dropped back to sixth as Eubanks was slowly stretching out his lead over Bender. Bender had a 15-second cushion over Hemme, with Mehterian now up into fifth place. At the midway point, Eubanks had some 17 seconds on Bender, and he maintained that gap until he bobbled with just three laps remaining, which allowed Bender to close in dramatically. Once Bender could see Eubanks, he closed in and made it a real race to the checkers. Eubanks kept his Renthal/HSY/Sinisalo-sponsored RM125 just out of the reach of Bender for a well~deserved victory. Parks put a last-lap pass on Hemme to go 2-3 for second overall. Hemme used consistent 4-4 rides for third, followed by Chisholm (1.7) and Bender (8-2). Results S/PfW (4-6): 1.
