Harwell was back in the lead on
lap three, Johnson in second briefly,
with Masecar taking the' spot, then
losing it.
Harwell, Johnson, and Masecar
were then pulling away, Bud Lawter

By lap four, it was Harwell and
Johnson moving away from Masecar,
who fell into a safe third. The next
lap, Johnson was out front with the
biggest lead of the race, Harwell drawing him right back in and taking the
