Jaoon _(lOx). e, Scenic Highlands Motosports Park Gracyk's Six-Pack By ROB PETRAS NEWCOMERSTOWN, OH, SEPT, 9 Team Green rider Gavin Gra(:yk took his No Fear/One industries/Smith/GT Thunder/MidOhio Kawasakis to six wins in six motos i!lt round two of the AMA District 12 Fall Series. Gracyk, who recently returned from Loretta Lynn's with two Amateur National Championship titles, was smooth as silk, winning the 125cc B, 250cc Band 16-24 Collegeboy classes. Track owner Tim Bemhard kept the day's events moving and the course in fine condition for the nearly 300 riders on hand. As 22 riders shot out of the gate for the first 1250c B moto, Lee Westner grabbed the start on his Yamaha YZF. Gracyk started fourth but quickly moved into the lead before the end of lap one. A battle ensued over second between Westner and Warren Laney II, who recently moved up from the 65cc class and looks very strong on his Yamaha 125. Eric Nepodal was in fourth, on a Suzuki. Gracyk won, with Laney taking second, followed by Westner and Nepodal. In moto two, Gracyk seized the lead and was gone. Nepodal held on to second for three laps until Laney and Westner worked their way past They finished in that order, with Honda rider Fletcher Shryock taking fifth after a bad start. In the 65cc division, KTM-mounted Kyle Ditcher battled with Kawasaki jockey Michael Blauman. Ditcher, who spent a large part of the summer in plaster with a broken leg, started behind Blauman in both motos. He went on to win and looked strong, posting 1- 1 results. Kawasaki jockey Dannie Pieronek had an impressive first moto, starting 12th but working up to third, behind Ditcher and Blauman. He would follow that up with another third in mota two. Blauman had his revenge in the 65cc Junior Mini class, winning both motos on his KX60. Matt Scott was second overall with 3-2 finishes, while Ditcher was third with 2-3 results. In the Senior Mini class, Aaron Kline styled his way to victory on a new YZ65, going 2-1. First-moto winner Andy Sczypta, riding a Yamaha, crashed hard in the second moto and did not finish. Second overall was Yamaha-mounted Sammy Isabel, and third overall went to Dustin Freitag, on a Kawasaki. Gracyk absconded with the holeshot in both motos 01 the 16-24 Collegeboy class and vanished, leaving the 21 racers behind him to fight over second. Carl Schlacht rode his Kawasaki to second overall in wild style, going 2-2. Third was Suzuki pilot Travis McQueen, with fourth going to Yamaha-mounted Mike Tolliver. Yamaha rider Bob LeHto bested the 25 riders in the 125cc C class. Second went to Darrin Beardmore, followed by Bruce Miner, both on Yamahas. Jennifer Veltre Roberts topped the Women's division on her Suzuki. She was followed by Kawasaki jockey Lauren Schlacht and Yamaha rider Alexa Leonard, R.sults WMN: I.
