SPENO AN Olson meant business, throwing out a nice cliffhanger and an amazing nothing can-can, and he finished by ghosting his bike over the top of a dirt landing ramp. The crowd loved it, and the judges awarded him a score of 88.0. Buyten rode next, but missed on a few jumps. Windham hit the floor and was obviously stepping it up in an attempt to get that elusive first victory, as he mixed up a run of the biggest tricks and pulled out an enormous nine o'clock nac-nac and a very impressive can-can-to-Superman combination that helped earn him a 92.6 and the hot seat. Unfortunately for him, Miller had other plans, somehow finding a way to ride a.n even better final than the night before. He started off with a very nice look-back Hart attack and continued with a cordova, a Lazy Boy, a brilliant nine o'clock nac-nac and an old-school whip, all of which got him an almost-unheardof 93.6. Nemeth did a huge nothing and a nothing can-can, as well as a Hart attack Indian air and a whipped nacnac, before finishing with a no-handed landing that he unfortunately didn't land, ending his chance at a first victory (though the appreciative crowd cheered him even after he was off of the floor). Finally, it was down to Jones. In an attempt to unseat Miller, he pulled out all of the stops and did some huge combos, including a Supermanto-heelclicker and a heelclicker-tono-handed-Ianding. Of course he also included a kiss of death, an oldschool whip and another successful suicide no-handed landing. The crowd was on its feet for the entire two minutes, and it was obvious he was the favorite. Once again, though, the judges passed on Jones and went with Miller, although this time the crowd booed for quite a while. Jones criticized the judging, but added, "As long as the fans are behind me, I'm happy with my performance."
