s:> 1-<:1 ........ F o X proceeded to walk away with a very impressive come-From-behind victory. Harker was all by himself at the checkers to earn the secondplace trophy. Third went to Randoll, followed by J.J. Noone and James Kibble. Josh Hess led the 125cc Novice race for a lap before Ryan Riess took control out front. Riess' reign lasted about 15 minutes before Stan Boyd made his way to the front after a seventh-place start. Boyd slowly pulled away to take the win, over Riess. Len Elwell, Sterling Zepeda, Darin Chisholm and Ricky Parks had a great battle over third for much of the race, with Zepeda getting the nod over Elwell and Chisholm. Multi-time AMA National Champion Jeff Emig came out to play with the CRC folks this Labor Day on a borrowed YZ250F and proceeded to easily run away with the win in the Four-Stroke class. Mike Childress, on a booming XR650R that would do well over 100 mph on the pavement, climbed from fifth to finish second, ahead of Greg Briles, Ian Wright and Rob Healy. Results PfW YAM BEG: 1.
