"I have a setup on my motorcycle that I'm really pleased with," Graves said. "I had been struggling getting it set up, and this time it ran really well." Kenny Kopecky was the fastest racer off the line in the Hyperclub Formula Two Grand Prix race, but once again Graves moved into the lead by tum two. That pushed Kopecky back to second. Bryan Kovarick held down an early third. Midway through lap two of the 10lap event, Kovarick moved past Kopecky for second. For the next few laps, those positions were unchanged, until Owen Richey moved into Kopecky's draft on the back straight on lap four and passed him going into tum nine. With no further changes in the top three, Graves took the win, followed by Kovarick in second and Richey in third. In the Graves Motorsports 650cc Superbike race, Kovarick took the holeshot, with Graves in second and Kopecky in third. Down the back straight on the first lap, Graves caught and passed Kovarick to take the lead. A few turns later, Toye drafted and passed Kopecky to take over third. For the next few laps of the six-lap sprint race, Toye concentrated on closing the gap on Kovarick in second. In lap five, he succeeded in passing Kovarick in the back straight. On the whiteflag lap, Kovarick managed to briefly pass Toye for second, but T oye was determined and, as the racers came down the front straight for the checkered flag, Toye twisted the throttle and narrowly crossed the line in second, behind Graves with the win.
