Disbennett had problems on the last run of the day and had to settle for fifth. Strank celebrated after his impressive win. "This is the best day I ever had," Strank proclaimed. "The 540 ran superb, and on the 800, the valves were floating and 1 was saying, 'Go faster, go faster.' Then I crossed the lights.
