Jackson County Fair Warrens Warns 'em All By RUPERT X. PELLETT JACKSON, OH. JULY 19 Being a native of Jackson, Kawasaki jockey Mitch Warrens had a throng of supporters on hand at the 10th round of the Ohio County Fairs Motocross Championship Series, so he had to win in front of the hometown crowd. Not one to disappoint. Warrens came out charging and flew his green machine into not one but two class wins, handily taking the Over 25 and Over 30 victories as the crowd cheered him on. There were some other notable double- class performances. Levi Kilbarger stormed divisions, while Chris "Led·Mani Leadbeater stomped on the 16-24 division and the Open class. slamming the door closed on the field as he romped off for the trophies aboard his booming Yamaha YZ426Z. In a surprise win, young Justin Mumame proved he's one to be reckoned with, as the likable lad from Westerville schooled the l25cc C class, twisting the throttle hard on his KX 125 to take the win from 250cc C-c1ass winner Chad Zaiser of Columbus. Once again. Derrick Arledge smoked the class of Schoolboy entrants. wicldng up his F&S Suzuki 125 and tearing through the whoops like nobody's business to take the win. Cody Proctor jumped out and bested Chris Robertson to snatch the first-place title in the 80cc (12-15) class, but the crafty Robertson came back to gain the 80cc Extra class while the very fast Proctor settled for second. Albany's Alec Ray stole the show in the Yamaha Pee Wee 50cc (4-8) class. Blake Hoffman rode in a comfortable second, in front of the fast young lady from Grove City, Ciara Carr.
