Braswell took the lead early in the second moto, ahead of Turbyfill and Weldon. Once again, Braswell and Turbyfill quickly pulled away from the rest of the field and were in a race of their own. Turbyfill kept Braswell within striking distance the whole moto, making it a close race all the Gerdes with a comfortable lead over Gerloff and Bacon. Fourth went to JM Racing/HHR's James Hillin. Mark Gerloff pulled down another holeshot in the second moto, with Gerdes and Hillin trailing. Gerloff managed to hold off Gerdes for the first lap, but at the beginning of the way to the finish. When the checkers fell, it was Braswell ahead of Turbyfill and taking the overall with a 2-1 score. Turbyfill took runner-up honors with a 1-2 finish, and rounding out the podium with a 3-3 finish was second lap Gerdes made his move for the lead, passing Gerloff and setting out to build his lead. Gerdes continued to slowly pull away until the checkers fell. Behind him, Gerloff took second overall, and Hillin's 4-3 Weldon. The 85cc Beginner class had 33 entries and, with only 20 gates, qualifying helped trim the field down to a full-gate, winner-take-all main event. Cinco Swisher took the holeshot in final, ahead of Trey Tammock and Michael Likins. Lance Stevens and Cody Hedge had a race going for fourth place. On the second lap, Swisher went down briefly and found himself in fifth. Tammock took over the lead and began to open up a gap on the rest of the field. Likins was beginning to get some pressure from Stevens. Charging out of the pack, score was good for third overall. Jacob Turbyfill took the holeshot, ahead of Cody Braswell, John Norris and Krae Weldon, in the first Super Modified Pee Wee moto. Turbyfill and Braswell wasted little time distancing themselves from the rest of the field. Braswell challenged Turbyfill early, Highlands Motocross Park: Derek Gerdes was the man to beat in the 250cc Expert class at the second round of the STC Stubbs Cycles Stars Over Texas Night Series In Highlands, besting the field with a 1-1 finish. attempting to pass "Turbo" in the whoops. Turbyfill had a better line headed into the comer and was able to hold off Braswell's charge. At the end of the first lap, the running order was Turbyfill, Braswell and Weldon. Braswell again made his move in the whoops, this time passing Turbyfill, only to be repassed in the corner. Behind the lead pack, Mason Roy had worked his way up to fourth, behind Norris. When the white flag came out, Braswell had only one more time through the whoops. With Turbyfill close, Braswell made a mistake that kept him behind the Cobra/No Fear/Spy-sponsored Turbyfill, who took the first-moto win. Weldon took third, ahead of a charging Roy.
