PEllETT TARLTON, OH, JUNE 23-24 Two days of racing were held at Grumpy Valley. The Saturday race was held in honor of Chris "Fred" Kuhn, a fonmer District II racer who is missed dearly. Sunday's event was tagged the "F&S Suzuki Bucks Race" and all the heavy hitters came out on their yellow bikes to vie for some of the contingency money offered up by both Suzuki and Daytonbased F&S. There was a swarm of racing action on Saturday as everyone wanted to win on this most momentous occasion. The Vet B (Over 30) class featured a tumultuous battle between Dave "Homeboy" Horn and Kevin "ReMax" Hildebrand, with Horn taking the first-mota win but then DNFing mota two, handing the win to Hildebrand. Carroll's Robert Sparks rode strong and consistent for a 2-2 tally behind Hildebrand's 3-1 score, while Brian "Gonzo" Gonser sneaked in for third with a 4-3 score. The 125cc B class featured another battle between "Wild" Willy Browning and Nick Carroll.
