Hofmaster held on the gas longer into the right-hander. Johnson, Gettel and Raubs were neck and neck through the whoops. Johnson seemed off balance over the step-up plateau and threw the bike away in midair while running second. Gettel took over second and set his sights on Hofmaster. At the halfway point, Gettel pulled alongside the leader as they entered lapped traffic. Hofmaster stayed to the outside and made some time through the switchbacks and put some distance between himself and Gettel, who settled into second while Raubs stayed in third. Hofmaster captured a convincing win in the 125cc A main event. Gettel finished second, Raubs was third and Justin Kandler fourth. Hofmaster took the 250cc A holeshot, with Gettel and Johnson close behind. Raubs and Jennison stayed tight behind the leaders. Gettel slipped out before the infield triple and handed second to Johnson on the second lap. Hofmaster was blasting through the corners with a vengeance. The leaders remained the same until they ran into lapped traffic again. Hofmaster came up short over the spectator triple, losing some ground to Johnson. A lap later, Johnson tried to make a pass through the whoops, but Hofmaster's legs were a little stronger than Johnson's. Hofmaster wouldn't give up the lead this time, and he cruised to the win over Johnson and Gettel.
